The Owners
A. James Arnold, Sr.
James formed Slater and Associates in 1974 after serving for ten years as a producer and sales manager with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. As a founding member of Sunbelt in 1984, Mark has past served as President of the Professional Insurance Agents Association of Chattanooga.
Stephen O. Spoon
Steve is also a founding partner of Sunbelt Insurance Group, Inc.. Prior to forming his own agency, he was an agency manager with American National Insurance Company. Steve also serves as a Commissioner for the Better Housing Commission of Chattanooga.
Paul J. Henry
Paul joined the Sunbelt Group in January of 1991. He has twenty-one years of experience in the insurance field, working as a large director writer for several years prior to forming his own agency in 1974.
The Producers
A. James Arnold, Sr.
James joined Insurance in 1987 straight from the University of Georgia. He has since attended the PIA Insurance School at Drake University and earned a Certified Insurance Counselor designation. James is a producer for Insurance for both personal and commercial insurance.
Bob Hill
Bob came to Insurance in 1992 and is a producer for personal, business, life, and health insurance. He has 16 years of experience in the property, casualty, and life insurance fields.
Carolyn Kell
Carolyn joined Insurance in 1994 and has enjoyed much success as a producer for both personal and commercial insurance. She has already begun to play a major role in the future success of Sunbelt Insurance Agency.
Donna Dixon
Donna joined Insurance in 1997. She has an extensive background in insurance and earned numerous accreditations. We are excited to have Donna as one of our personal insurance specialists and expect much success.
